Candlelight Processional and Osborne Lights
It's Molly again. To finish my holiday theme, here are videos of Epcot's Candlelight Processional and Hollywood Studio's Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.
The Candlelight Processional is the story of Christmas told in story and songs. The Processional is made up of a mass choir, joined by a 50-piece live orchestra and a celebrity narrator.
As Florida snow falls, more than 10 miles of lights "dance" to music every 15 minutes.

Walt Disney World: Past, Present and Future
Hello everyone! Jennifer here from Becoming Part of That World. I thought I'd jump on the band wagon and post a little something for everyone to watch while we comtinue to wait for our purple folders/emails! What I've decided to post is a special to commemorate WDW's 20th anniversary hosted by John Lithgow that was on the disney channel in the early 90's. So this is before the Animal Kingdom or Sunset Boulevard with ToT and Rock n' Roller Coaster were created. Though it is a bit outdated, it is fun to see some of the early visions of rides and additions we love today. Enjoy!

You will probably see a bunch of links/videos from me relating to old Epcot. I love Epcot's history and the attractions that used to be there -- especially the music.
The first link I'll post is a really cool website called "Walt Dated World."
Here you can read old attraction scripts, lyrics and see old pictures. It is really neat if you are nostalgic, like myself!
The second website I want to share has aerial images of the parks and certain attractions. It's not a huge time waster, but it's kind of neat! You can find that here.
This next website is full of Disney fonts, even down to the specific attraction. I'm not sure what you could use these for, but I thought they were cool--especially the Tiki room one! Click here for the fonts.
Lastly (I know, I have made this long!!), I figured I would post links to three old family sitcom episodes that took place in Disney. Yes, there a few more, but I don't have the links handy and I want to save more for a future post!
Step by Step - We're Going to Disney World
Part 1 / Part 2
Full House - The House Meets the Mouse
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4
Boy Meets World - The Happiest Show on Earth

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
It's Molly again. Keeping with my theme of Christmas at Disney World, MVMCP is a special event where the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Holiday Partyland with special decorations and holiday shows. Cast members get discounted tickets to this holiday party. Here are a few videos of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Past attractions at EPCOT - Part 2
Lyanne here again!! :) (I give up on the shameless blog promotion! but do look for it if you want! lol)
Hey everybody! Just posting again so I can continue sharing the videos for the past attractions at EPCOT.
Up next is World of Motion. This ride was situated where we can now find Test Track. It was an opening day attraction and it closed on January 2, 1996.
What ever happened to the Wonders of Life pavilion? Anybody know? I don't remember even catching a glimpse of the pavilion last July. :/
Anyway, this pavilion was host to an attraction called Body Wars (very similar in concept to Star Tours). This ride opened October 19, 1989 and it has been closed since January 1st, 2007, along with the rest of the pavilion which is now apparently only used for special events like the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. If anybody knows anything else about the pavilion let me know. :)
Before Honey, I shrunk the Audience, the 3D show featured at the Imagination Pavilion was Captain EO. Staring Michael Jackson and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, this 3D film opened on September 12, 1986 and closed July 6, 1994.
Captain EO will be returning to the Disneyland park in California.
That's all for now! Have a great day everybody! :)

MICKEY'S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY
Hey everybody! It's me, Emily! From the Magic Magic Mouseketeer blog. I can't believe they're already sending out purple e-mails! It's so exciting! Congrats to everyone so far! And I've got my fingers crossed for the rest of us this week!
One thing I'm looking forward to is Halloween at Disney World. I've never been to either resort outside of summer vacation -- so, I'm really excited for all of the holidays we'll be experiencing with Disney during out program. Here are a couple videos from the Halloween celebrations at Disney World!
Augh! That looks like so much fun! I'm already thinking about what to do for costumes! What about you?
Disney's Holiday Magic With Samantha Brown
Hell0 Everyone! It's Molly again from Working From The Mouse.
Today, I was watching The Travel Channel when Samantha Brown's Disney Holiday Magic came on TV. Samantha takes you on a tour of Walt Disney World and Disneyland during the holidays.

Past attractions at EPCOT - Part 1
Lyanne (Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas)
Like Jenn's previous post, I love to watch attractions videos but it wasn't until a couple of days a go that I realized that instead of watching all the videos of rides I had already been on (and hopefully will be on again ;) ) I wanted to watch videos of previous attractions that I hadn't had the chance to see or attractions that I saw as a little kid but only have vague memories of.
I figured there are too many past attractions in of all the parks so I'm just gonna share a few from EPCOT.
First up is Kitchen Kabaret, this 13 minute audio-animatronic show closed January 3,1994 after 12 years. This show was present since EPCOT's opening day.
Kitchen Kabaret was later replaced by Food Rocks. The show opened on March 26, 1994 and closed January 3, 2004 to make way for Soarin'.
Now we move from the Land pavillion to another part of Future World, where now Mission Space stands. There stood Horizons. This attraction opened on October 1st, 1983 and closed on January 9, 1999.
I'm gonna leave it at that for now. There's still a lot more past attractions at EPCOT and previous versions of attractions still in existence (and that's just in EPCOT!). I hope you enjoyed the videos. Have a great day everybody!

Let's get ready for some Disney History!
Hey guys and gals! Lauren here!(vlog and blog here, respectively!)
So, I was checking out my youtube and saw a link for these series of videos, which I've seen before, and knew it was be a really cool thing to post.
These videos are basically videos found from the disney vault. When Walt was building Disneyland, he had the whole construction filmed. It was rotting away for years until a few employees came across it.
Here's the synopsis:
Archival footage of the park's birth. Using time-lapse and traditional eye-in-the-sky photography, this is a dazzling piece of history, presenting how the fearless construction crews had Disneyland up and running in just under a year. Again: just under a year. commentary by Tony Baxter, Ed Hobleman, and Walter Magnuson, who discuss the frantic construction of the park. Courtesy of Walt's persnickety insistence to document everything.
Here they are, in parts 1-5
So yeah, if you've got some time on your hands, these are AMAZING videos. Also, check out this persons youtube channel, theeditor84 for some GREAT disney videos!
Have a magical evening! :)

First 3 Mickey Mouse cartoons
Lyanne again here!! Hello everybody!
Today I wish to share the first 3 Mickey Mouse cartoons ever made in order in which they were produced. If you've already seen them, I'm sure you'll agree they are lots of fun to watch! Enjoy!
P.S: Contrary to what many people believe, Steamboat Willie is not Mickey's first cartoon short (it was Plane Crazy) but it was the first short to find a distributor so that explains why many people think so.
Plane Crazy
The Gallopin' Gaucho
Steamboat Willie

CP Vlog Hall o' Fame!
Abby again, with the as-promised vlog post! This is by no means a comprehensive list of past/Spring CP Vloggers. They're just ones I happen to particularly enjoy.
First of all, there's John Henselmeier. His vlogs are so hilarious I can't possibly pick a single favorite one. Just watch them all. You won't regret it AND it will definitely help pass the time between now and getting your purple email/folder because he has like 40 of them.
This one is great though because it's about something we are all too familiar with....
Ryan O is another hilarious vlogger who's on his program RIGHT NOW doing Main Entrance Ops at the Magic Kingdom. I love this vlog just because it has "Wishes" in it. But he's awesome and willing to do anything... like talk in a pseudo-Australian accent for an entire vlog set in Animal Kingdom...
Finally, I will leave you with Will, also currently on Spring 2010... I believe in merchandise? Here's a great vlog featuring Ryan O about when he auditioned for Character Performer:
And of course you should check out my vlog ;) and the WDWCP Fall 2010 channel!!
